A semiconductor is a material which is between a conductor and an insulator. A slight change to the semiconductor can make it into a conductor or insulator.
At the molecular [...]

Moon of Muharram (Above the ‘only’ sign)
The Prophet Muhammad was asked: “Which prayer is the best after the obligatory (five daily) prayers?”
He said: “Prayer during the middle of the night.”
The Prophet was then asked: “Which fast is the best after the fast of Ramadan?”
He replied: “The (voluntary fasts during the) month of God that [...]

Just thought I’d share this photo along with some poetry I found on this forum (recommended forum) :

It told me it will bring me happiness, and joy, and ease in life.
It lied to me.
Love threw me down and smothered my face in dirt.
It showed me how much of a [...]

Two Veils
Posted in Poetry on January 12, 2007 | 1 Comment »
Between God and His servant are just two veils;
all other veils become manifest from these two: health and
wealth. He who is healthy says, “Where is God? I don’t know
and I don’t see.” As soon as he begins to suffer, he says, “Oh
God! Oh God!”, and he begins sharing his secrets with Him
and talking to Him. [...]

From a lecture given by Sheikh Husain Abdul Sattar found HERE
In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. Peace and blessings be upon Prophet Mohammad.
Everyone has the inherent ability to have khushu’ (enjoy, focus, gain tranquility).
The question is , where does the individual focus this Khushu’?
Khushu’ in Salaah:
1) Salaah is built upon tahara.

This rose left me in awe one morning, thought I’d share this beauty and let everyone reflect on it insha Allah.
What i saw in it was that beautiful rose, with potential to bloom, suddenly froze. Halted in its spiritual growth, only to be a victim of time. Death came early for it. Spiritual death.
Please do [...]
