When the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) sighted the moon of Rajab (two months before Ramadan) he used to pray to Allah in the following words:
اَللّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِى رَجَبَ وَ شَعْبَانَ وَ بَلِّغْنَا رَمَضَان

Sheikh Mokhtar mentioned a hadith the night before about focusing in salaah: Allah would say to the person in salaah who turns away (with their heart) ‘Where to, to somthing better than Me?”. May Allah increase us in khushoo in salaah ameen.
